An Abu Dhabi school bus driver, who narrowly hit a child crossing the road earlier this year, has had his driving licence taken away from him for reckless driving.
The Abu Dhabi Department of Transport (DoT) on Tuesday said it has withdrawn the driving licence from the school bus driver who was driving recklessly as he risked hitting a child as he was trying to cross the road in Al Falah residential area.
"The reckless driver ignored the "stop" sign, on the school bus, which is used to alert other drivers that a bus is dropping or picking up students. Drivers must stop and keep a distance of at least five meters to ensure safe passage of students," DoT said in the statement.
"But when the school bus had stopped as it waited for the supervisor accompanying the child to pass the road to his home, a speeding school bus suddenly approached the child before the supervisor managed to pull him out of harm's way just in time - saving the child's life."????? ????? ???? ????? ???? ????? ?????? ????? ??? ????? ?? ??? ???? ????? ??? ????? ???? ?????? ??? ????? ?????? ?????? ??????? ??????? ??? ?? ????? ?????? ??????
