With Eid Al Adha around the corner, free public parking has been announced in a few emirates.
Abu Dhabi's Integrated Transport Centre announced that all parking spaces will be free of charge during Eid Al Adha.
Emarat Al Youm reported that surface parking bays will be free from August 10 to 7:59AM of August 14, 2019.
Earlier, Dubai and Sharjah announced free parking during the Eid holiday.
The center urged motorists not to park in non-parking areas and hinder traffic flow.
Motorists are advised to not park in parking lots of residential areas from 9pm until 8am, the center added.
Furthermore, Customer Happiness Centers will be closed during the holiday, resuming work on August 14.
