Capital gets new intersection
The Abu Dhabi Municipality has opened a new intersection at the extension of Al Falah Street to streamline traffic to and from Shaikh Zayed Road, one of the main gateways to the Capital.
The intersection is aimed at improving and upgrading roads, bridges and junctions.
Situated between two main intersections (on Shaikh Zayed Street–Al Falah Street and Al Falah Street-Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak Street), it will enhance the network link and ease access to and from several government departments.
The project includes revamping the entire street with a lane added to provide a U-turn to motorists heading towards the Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Street.
