Two-time defending champion Novak Djokovic, of Serbia, will get proceedings under way against Frenchman Michael Llodra, a recent quarter-finalist in Marseille, on Centre Court at 2pm.
At that very same time, spectators over on Court One will be treated to seeing former top-five star, Nikolay Davydenko, of Russia, while sixth-seeded Serbian Viktor Troicki completes an all-star, early line-up on Court Three.
Following in Djokovic’s footsteps into the main arena will be charismatic Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis, who shall face Andrey Golubev, whereas local talent and wildcard entry Omar Awadhy will tackle Sergiy Stakhovsky.
The sizzling singles action is matched by a fabulous feast in the doubles, where legendary Indian pairing Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes will lock horns with a rare partnership between the Djokovic brothers, Novak and Marko.
The evening programme is no less star-studded either and features top seed and four-time champion Roger Federer versus Indian wildcard Somdev Devvarman prior to a very evenly-matched contest between Russian Mikhail Youzhny and Gilles Simon, of France.
Tickets to see the stars in action, for most days, can still be purchased online at: www.timeouttickets.com
