WhatsApp users have received their first update of 2019. The latest update released on Monday had three new features for users.
iPhone users can now reply privately in WhatsApp groups, add stickers to photos and videos, and use 3D touch to preview a contact's status.
The feature to reply privately was available for Android users since December.
The change log published in the App Store carries the version number 2.19.10.
The below three updates were listed:
Follow the tips below to activate each of the new features:
1. Reply privately in group chats: Participants of a group can reply privately to a chat in their 1:1 chat. To use the future, all you need to do is tap and hold a message in a group and select Reply Privately.
2. Adding stickers to photos/videos: For activating stickers in photos and videos, you can tap on the smiley icon while editing any picture or video and add stickers to media.
3. 3D touch to preview status: iPhone users can now preview a contact's status via 3D Touch. It also lets use mute a status if they wish to.
