After a hugely successful event back in April - The Fight DXB Uncovered - which saw David Oliver Joyce win the WBO European featherweight title and Dubai-based Aliu Bamidele Lasisi land the WBC International super-flyweight crown at the Emirates Golf Club, Ahmed Seddiqi, the man behind it, has taken it up a notch.
He had promised more to come back then and has stayed true to his word, with the gloves coming off for another event.
The Rotunda Rumble, featuring nine fights on the card, will take place on Friday evening, at a venue synonymous with boxing.
Caesars Palace in Nevada, the United States, has hosted bouts since the late 1907s and its Dubai's equivalent will provide the stunning backdrop for a rich card.
The main fight features Pakistan's Muhammad Waseem, who was controversially denied the IBF world title last year, facing off against Conrado Tanamor.
Waseem holds an 8-1 record with six KOs, while Tanamor has a 11-3 record with four KOs.
After tipping the scales at 52.5kg during the weigh-in held at Caesars Palace on Thursday afternoon, Waseem hopes to floor the Filipino.
"I'm so excited. Hopefully this will lead to me fighting for a world title in my country back in Pakistan," Waseem said on Thursday.
"I've been training very hard back in Scotland and I know I'll be a world champion soon. I think I'll go for a knockout. This has been a six-month camp!" added the 32-year-old from Quetta.
Meanwhile, Dubai-based Rohan Date takes on India's Pardeep Kharera, the WBC Asian champion. And the 24-year-old Irishman is looking forward to it.
"I have great friends here in Dubai and the community always comes out to support me in my fights. Between Waterford in Ireland and Dubai, I have a big fan base and it's still growing all the time," said Date.
"A lot of people have heard about the fact I can bang and I'm aiming to produce something eye-catching at this event. I want to really make a statement. "I've been mixing it with the top UK welterweights already. I know I'm still developing but I'm already confident I can compete with the top boys of the division. With these shows continuing in Dubai, hopefully I can look at fighting for some titles here. My opponent is a former WBC Asian champion so potentially I'll be looking at similar titles after next week," added the welterweight.
