A Chinese couple's quarrel in the middle of a busy road ended in a tragedy as the woman was crushed under a speeding car.
The terrifying CCTV footage shows the couple engaged in a fight on a busy two-way road with the woman standing right behind the man who is seen wearing a hoodie. The footage starts with the man supposedly striking the woman with his elbow following which she kneels down on the road.
Within moments, a speeding car coming from behind hits the woman, throwing her several feet away. The woman died on the spot, while the man who was also hit in the accident is seen getting up and walking up to the woman.
According to the footage shared on YouTube (GRAPHIC CONTENT: VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED) by People's Daily China, the accident took place in South China's Guangzhou following which the man held himself responsible for the woman's death. He was arrested.
