The First Day of the second Edition of the UAE Drones For Good Award saw the launch of the first UAE-designed and developed robot for civil defence and fire missions.
The robot - called the "Fire Bot" was designed by Digi Robotics, a company that specialises in robotics and artificial intelligence systems.
The Fire Bot is designed to remotely carry out critical tasks, such as connecting to extinguishing systems in buildings and automatically moving to the source of the fire to begin extinguishing it before firefighters arrive. The robot can also be used to spread awareness campaigns in malls.
