Record 13-time Arabian Gulf League champions Al Ain have renewed Mohamed Abdulrahman's contract that will see the midfielder at the club until 2023.
The 30-year-old, the brother of playmaker Omar Abdulrahman, agree to the four-year contract extension, the club confirmed.
Mohamed becomes one of the longest serving players at the garden city club, with this being his 11th season with The Boss.
This will be his 15th year with the club, having joined the youth squad in 2004 before graduating to the first team in 2008.
Mohamed, capped 46 times by the UAE, has so far made 174 appearances for Al Ain, scoring 15 goals and having 20 assists.
And the midfielder revealed that he would like to end his career at Al Ain.
"I did not think for a moment to leave the club," said Mohamed.
"I did not think about any offer because Al Ain has given me a lot. And I hope to repay their faith and trust. I really want to end my career at Al Ain," he added.
The club have also extended 24-year-old midfielder Rayan Yaslam's stay until 2024.
Al Ain are in the midst of a massive overhaul and have brought in Brazilian midfielder Caio Canedo from Al Wasl, Togolese international Kodjo Laba, Moroccan Abderrahmane Meziane, while also extending Japanese defender Tsukasa Shiotani contract. The club have also made some local signings as well.
Meanwhile, Al Wasl have signed Brazilian defender Lucas Galvao from German club FC Ingolstadt.
