Mascarpone
This cheese has a soft creamy texture with a slightly sweet taste. Best with seasonal fruits, plain biscuits and locally sourced honey.
Brie
Rich, creamy and earthy, brie has a soft and ripe mouthfeel that goes best with dried fruits, semi-sweet jams and chutneys.
Cheddar
Tinged with sharp, rich flavour, cheddar works well with meaty sausages and freshly cut fruit.
Stilton
Bold and intense, the blue cheese variety needs a milder accompaniment like walnuts and honey to truly enjoy its flavours.
Gouda
The buttery cubes of gouda taste heavenly with salted almonds, cured meats and sun-dried peppers.
Feta
The crumbly cheese has a tart and salty taste, and pairs well with olives, namely Greek variety, roasted marinated peppers and light, crispy wafers.
Parmesan
Depending on the maturation level, parmesan goes best with salads, pastas, cold dishes, as well as fresh fruits and nuts.
