Bahrain on Tuesday suspended flights to Dubai and Sharjah over fears about the spread of a new virus. It said the ban was immediate and would last at least 48 hours.
The Ministry of Health has registered a total of two registered cases in the nation so far.
Bahrain confirmed its first case of the coronavirus on Monday in a school bus driver. The patient has drop off children at two schools, the ministry said.
According to the BNA report, the ministry has contacted the families of students who took the bus, and all have been tested to ensure they are free of the coronavirus.

The second case was registered after a Bahraini woman arriving at the Bahrain International Airport from Iran was examined as part of the precautionary measures taken in light of the global coronavirus outbreak.
The ministry said that it has taken all necessary measures to ensure individuals who have been in contact with the patient have undergone treatment and precautionary quarantine.
All schools and kindergarten will be closed for two weeks, as a precautionary measure to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
