Saudi Arabia to host first Kaale expo

The inaugural Kingdom Airports, Aviation and Logistics Exhibition, or Kaale, in Saudi Arabia is set to underscore the significance of the government’s $100 billion spending in the next decade on transport-related projects, according to the event’s organiser.

Arabian Reach, a UAE-based event management company, announced that it is coordinating with Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation to bring together top aviation industry players to the event, scheduled to take place on May 1 and 2 at the Centre for Events and Forums in Jeddah.

The event has generated substantial exhibitor interest as 95 per cent of the stands have already been sold out.

“The kingdom is estimated to be investing $10 billion to $20 billion for developing and upgrading airports by 2020, with private companies expected to contribute as much as $10 billion to the projects,” Arabian Reach general manager Raj Menon said.
