Nakheel gearing up for DSS 2014

Nakheel is gearing up for its busiest season on record at its flagship Ibn Battuta Mall, where a world of entertainment, promotions and prizes awaits visitors throughout Dubai Summer Surprises 2014.

Phone protection from etisalat, AXA

Etisalat has launched the region’s first Smartphone Protection Plans, which protect handsets within and outside UAE from theft and accidental damage.

The plans are priced at Dh120 for a six-month cover or Dh250 for 12 months. Users can protect their devices against accidental damage including a cracked screen, forced theft, liquid damage and defects not covered under the phone’s existing warranty. The plans have been launched in partnership with leading insurance provider, AXA Insurance, and are available to all customers who purchase a new smartphone from etisalat.


Emirates NBD unit wins honour

Emirates NBD Asset Management Limited, the asset management arm of Emirates NBD, has been named the Best Investment Management Company 2014, UAE at the World Finance Investment Management Awards 2014 in London.

Emirates NBD Asset Management received the award in recognition of its innovative approach to risk and asset liability management, as well as overall performance, investment strategy, market transformation, leadership, transparency and governance, among others.


Jumeirah Group big on YouTube

Jumeirah Group, the global luxury hotel company and a member of Dubai Holding, continues to outpace all other luxury hotel brands and has now received over 15 million views on its YouTube channel.

On average, the channel receives 47.6 thousand views per day and this year alone has had over 5.5 million views — a 1,756 per cent increase over the same period last year. The most popular video is the Red Bull Racing F1 Stunt with 1,293,600 views.
