Twenty20 leagues in the world are proving a boon for youngsters who get a chance to perform on the bigger stage.
Pakistan Super League is no exception as it has produced a number of players including the likes of Hasan Ali, Fakhar Zaman and Shadab Khan, all of whom are representing Pakistan in different formats.
Hasan Ali showcased his talent with a match-winning performance on Sunday against Lahore Qalandars. The aggressive fast bowler from Gujranwala (Punjab), has been part of Peshawar Zalmi since the PSL started. Hasan took four wickets of the first five including the dismissal of AB de Villiers.
While answering a question about his fitness and form, he said: "My performance dipped recently and it is a part and parcel of the game. Sometime you don't bowl well but you get the wickets and sometimes an average ball gets you the wicket.
"Now I feel fit as the results are the proof, I always want to bowl aggressively and that is what my team expects from me. I am still young (24) and hope to play a role in the Pakistan team and for Peshawar Zalmi.
"Today (Sunday) I enjoyed every wicket but de Villiers' scalp is always special for any bowler in the world because when he gets set he takes care of you."
Teams should take care of their fast bowlers because overwork results in burn-out. The dip in the form of Hasan might have been caused by overload.
"Since I have told you I am quite young and I want to play all the formats. We are humans and there might be some sort of fatigue but I take care of my fitness and feel no pressure."
Captain Sarfraz Ahmed has used Hasan as a second change bowler. He tasted lot of success and was declared best bowler in 2017 edition of Champion Trophy which was won by Pakistan.
"In the early part of my career, most of the time I was given the old ball. The reason behind that decision was that Wahab Bhai was an established old ball bowler and his in and out of the team gave me chance to bowl the old ball.
"But now I am opening the bowling for Pakistan team and Peshawar Zalmi. I feel no difference and want to prove myself at every level."
The mercurial fast bowler had some issues with Sarfraz in the past and while answering a question about the difference between Sarfraz and Darren Sammy captaincy, he said: "Both are experienced captains and I enjoy playing under each of them.
"Since Sammy is from Caribbean, he orders smilingly and you have to follow it. He is an amazing person and his positive relationship with players is a source of inspiration. We have also got Misbah-ul-Haq in Peshawar Zalmi who himself is renowned for leadership qualities."
