Maqsood hit 55 off 101 balls while Naemuddin Aslam (46 and 62 balls) and Mohammed Yousef (45 off 23 balls) chipped in with some solid scores as Nucaf Tellicherry, batting first, scored a formidable 304 before being all out in the 50th over.
Oshadha Warna (40 off 29 balls) and Chauvan (36) also kept the momentum going, putting their side on the front foot. Pagrani snared three wickets, but conceded as many as 74 runs while Shadeeb Khan (two for 20) was the other major wicket-taker.
Yogi Group, in reply, were shot out for 229 in 35 overs with Mohammed Afsal doing most of the damage, taking three wickets for 30 runs. Amjad Ali also returned with a fine spell of two for 10 runs.
Shaimon Anwar led the Yogi Group’s batting charge with a scintillating 67 off 24 balls which included seven fours and five. Salman Faris (27 off 14 balls), Baber Rehman (26 off 29 balls) and Aehutten (25 off 31 balls) were also among runs, but their efforts failed to prevent Nucaf Tellicherry from registering a big victory.
