Ajman moved into the top four bracket in the Arabian Gulf League with a 2-1 win over Dibba on Monday at the Rashid bin Saeed Stadium in Ajman.
Ajman continued their incredible rise from the bottom of the table with a 24th minute goal from Saoud Faraj, whose header hit the crossbar before going past Dibba keeper Fahd Mohamed.
Dibba cut the deficit after 63 minutes when Ajman defender Hassan Zahran pulled Diogo da Silva down inside the box. The Brazilian import was on target to from the spot kick for Dibba equaliser. The Dibba joy, however, was short lived when Bakary Kone netted home a free kick minutes later. With this victory Ajman's point tally went to 19, a point more than defending champions Al Jaizra. Dibba are languishing in ninth place with 12 points. Two players from each side earned yellow cards.
In an earlier match on Sunday night, a brace by Caio Canedo helped Al Wasl come from behind to defeat old rivals Sharjah by the odd goals in three at the Zabeel Stadium. The visitors drew the first blood ten minutes before the teams crossecd over. Sharjah's Brazilian forward Welliton Soares outsprinted his before firing a low shot that was deflected poorly by goalkeeper Sultan Al Manthari into the path of Yousif Saeed, who tapped the ball home with ease to put Sharjah ahead at the half time.
The Kings seemed to be holding on to their solitary goal lead until Rodolfo Arruabarrena's boys changed the tide completely in the final ten minutes with two headers in the space of three minutes by Caio. In the 82nd minute Ronaldo Mendes race down the right wing, before sending a perfect cross to Caio, who headed into the back of the net to bring the Cheetahs on level. Three minutes later, Al Wasl scored their winning goal in an identical fashion. Right back Salem Al Azizi sent a pinpoint cross to Caio, who rose above everyone to power in a header.

The match was not without rough play as four Al Wasl players and three on Sharjah side were handed over yellow cards.
The win puts Al Wasl in Second place with 31 points, one point behind leaders Al Ain, while Sharjah remain seventh place with 16 points.
