Yousuf Abdulla, secretary general of the UAEFA, said the final is a real annual football feast which is awaited by the whole sports community.
“I will like to convey to you the greetings of the chairman of the FA interim committee and his brothers the members of the committee along with their best wishes for the two teams,” he said during the special news conference at the association’s offices.
“We are looking forward to see the best of the game played by the clashing sides to the satisfaction of the faithful fans who will attend the match to cheer the players. All preparations are well in place and there’s nothing short of being perfect,” he confirmed.
Khaled Matar, public relations manager of the Etisalat, thanked the FA and valued the close cooperation between the two bodies saying that the President Cup is the most prestigious competition in the FA agenda.
“Reaching the final is an achievement in itself for Al Jazira and Bani Yas,” he noted. The final’s programmw contains plenty of entertainment and surprises for the spectators and their families,” he promised. However, according to Mariam Ahli, director of public relations at Al Hilal Bank, the final’s day will be very exceptional from all aspects.
“We are proud at Al Hilal Bank to look after the young generations which represents an integral part of our strategy. We act with our hearts and feelings before we take a step forward. The success of the ‘Khalifa Our Pride’ festival is a success for the nation and the sport,” she said.
Credit card for football fans
Al Hilal Bank disclosed that they have issued a special credit card for football fans in collaboration with the UAEFA and Vis International which underlines the long-standing links between them and the FA and highlights the passions of the football supporters.
“We will also host a competition for the best photo through the bank’s page on Facebook,” she said.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Jabril, CEO of Al Hilal Bank, wished the spectators an enjoyable moments and benefit from the Visa International.
