I'm a 14-year-old girl and love the remedies you give. I have a lot of pimples, marks and acne. I also have thick hair, but my hair fall is similar to rainfall. Please suggest some easy, effective and affordable remedies as well as ones that won't be time-consuming, as I am a school-going girl.

Pimples and acne can be cleared by thoroughly cleansing the skin regularly using aloe vera gel twice a day. Follow this with a mask, just before bed, made by mixing a pinch of turmeric with a few drops of lemon juice. Apply on the face and leave on overnight. It will help clear marks, get rid of infection and brighten your skin. You may add a few drops of aloe vera gel to the mix, which makes the treatment better and offers faster relief for your problem. I understand you are a school-going girl, so you can prepare this treatment weekly, instead of daily, but make sure you refrigerate it, as it contains lemon juice. Drink plenty of water and eat healthy. For severe hair fall, massage scalp with a thin layer of fenugreek paste. Leave on for 30 minutes before shampoo. Avoid hair conditioner. Instead, apply aloe vera gel to wet hair and allow it to dry naturally. This will give hair both body and health.
My chin is very rough because of threading. What can I do to make it smooth?
- Leema
Oats are an excellent skin softener. Make a smooth paste with oats powder. Apply a thick mask and gently scrub off after it becomes semi-dry. You will notice the softening of your skin and feel the smooth texture.
I have slightly long, thin hair growing on my cheeks as well as under my chin. Please give me a natural remedy.

Hair growth on cheeks and chin may be due to heredity reasons or hormonal imbalances. Take half a teaspoon of turmeric powder and a quarter teaspoon of bicarbonate soda. Add rose water, then apply on the problem areas. In a few minutes, scrub against the hair growth. Do this every alternate day. If this doesn't work, I'd suggest waxing or laser as the next best option.
I go running every day, but my hair gets very sweaty. I cannot shampoo and blow-dry it every day, or it will fall. What can I do to make it look as good as when I shampoo and blow-dry it? Any natural remedies?
- Shweta
A sweaty scalp needs cleansing or you may start getting dandruff as well as develop odour problems. You risk damaging your skin and hair, so simply rinse your scalp by spraying fresh, filtered water on it and allowing it to dry naturally. Twice a week, use shampoo to cleanse your scalp and hair. Your hair will look healthy and feel good.
