Why are the cycle tracks only half painted?

During my early morning walk I have observed that some portions of the cycle track, on the road from Reem Island mosque (Marina Square) to Leaf Tower, are just left white without paint. The rest of the area has been painted green as per municipality guidelines.
I waited for couple of months before spreading awareness through the newspaper since the contractor must have thought no one would notice this. Being a resident of this nation, I felt it is my duty to point this out as it gives a bad impression on the city.
I request the authorities to check the area and do the needful.
