Hotels in Delhi have been asked to open their restrooms to public for a fee of Rs5. I think this may not be a step in the best interests of the hotel industry. Guests and visitors in these hotels may not like it.
The best way to ensure public convenience is by investing and installing mobile vans with toilets and shower facilities in different parts of the city. Hotels are private properties, and should not be forced to share their resources, even for a fee.
