The project follows the rebuilding of a metropolis after it has fallen into decline

More than 3,000 private cars were seized in Abu Dhabi last year as the owners were found using their vehicles for unauthorised car lifts (KT, Feb 8). The vigilance of the authorities is well appreciated, but I would like to point out the reason why such services were popular in the first place. Primarily, it is because of the lack of a wide network of public transport.
There is a need for the government to look into this area. For instance, bus service thins on weekends, and we have to wait for long at the bus stops. If you are coming from Mussafah, Baniyas, Mafraq or any other work areas in Abu Dhabi, the wait time for buses can as long as an hour.
