A massive water spout cascaded off a 61storey-high skyscraper in Philadelphia, leaving onlookers baffled as it continued for around five minutes drenching the cars below.
One Liberty Place is 945 feet and is one of the iconic skyscrapers in Philadelphia. On Sunday morning, water spewed from the pyramid-shaped peak of the skyscraper mysteriously and stopped abruptly.
According to reports in The Philadelphia Inquirer quoted in NDTV, hundreds in the city watched in amazement the steady stream of water with several filming the bizarre incident.

Initially, the incident left fire officials, Department of Licenses and Inspections and city water department looking for explanations as there was no fire alarm or signs of damage in the building.
However, the mystery was solved when fire department spokesman, Kathy Matheson, told news website Billy Penn that it was a result of a fire system test, caused by a lack of modern drainage in the building, which was built in 1987.
"Newer buildings are equipped with special drainage systems that pull off most of the water that is generated by such tests," Matheson said.
