Fans were treated to a mini meet and greet session with rookie K-Pop group Lucente at Roxy Cinemas, City Walk on Wednesday. The seven-member group - U.Seong, Z.Hoo, Kogun, Bao, Parkha, Taejun and Hero - marked their first visit to the UAE, and is the first Korean artist to touch base in 2019, as part of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF). Prior to their debut in September last year, the group has already toured across India, Hong Kong and Japan.
Dressed in stylish attire, the boys shared greeted the audience in Arabic and each member took turns to answer questions from fans. Besides showing off their charms, Lucente shared their positive impressions of Dubai, admiration for global sensation BTS, as well as plans of an upcoming track and tour in March.
When asked how they plan to compete with a saturated K-Pop scene and maintain harmony within the team, leader U.Seong candidly said that the members tend to eat a lot and practice together to keep up with intense schedules. They also ensure they interact with one another and openly share their thoughts for better teamwork and coordination.
"We're working hard in order to improve ourselves and show you better performances on stage," he said.
The group is currently on a steady rise in the Hallyu scene with their title track "Your Difference", and will open the show for "Bboom Bboom" stars Momoland this Friday (January 4) at the Dubai Duty Free Stadium.
Doors open at 6pm and tickets start from Dh200.
