Singer Beyonce Knowles, who was scheduled to perform at the MetLife Stadium here on Wednesday, has postponed her concert until October 7.
The postponement was announced by MetLife Stadium through a statement on its website, adding that Knowles has been put on "vocal rest by a doctor", reports aceshowbiz.com.
"Live Nation and Parkwood Entertainment apologize for any inconvenience," read the statement.
Tickets for the previously scheduled performance will be valid at the rescheduled date. Fans who want to seek refund on their tickets can visit the point of purchase beginning September 7.
There were no changes to any additional dates at this time and Beyonce's next shows in St. Louis, Los Angeles, Santa Clara, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Nashville were expected to proceed as scheduled.
