Ties between the UAE and China will receive a further boost when His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, visits China next week.
This follows the visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai in April, and comes a year after Chinese President Xi Jinping made a landmark visit to the UAE last year.
The strong economic, political, cultural, and people-to-people relations were elevated to a comprehensive strategic partnership during President Xi's three-day state visit in July last year.
Sheikh Mohamed and Xi will discuss ways to enhance the relationship across various sectors. Regional and international issues and crises will figure on the agenda, Wam said.
A high-level delegation will accompany the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and will include Dr Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State, chief executive of Adnoc Group and chairman of Masdar.
