Chairman of the Planning and Survey Department Salah bin Batti announced on Sunday that the approval for the land allotment was made in line with the directives of the Ruler to grant plots to citizens in various parts of the emirate.
A total of 514 plots were allotted to citizens in the suburbs of Baleeda area to build homes. Meanwhile, 6,000 plots were allotted in different regions for commercial purposes as per the social security programme announced by the Ruler.
A total of 3,000 plots will be handed over to beneficiaries before the end of the year for industrial purposes in various locations. Another batch of plots will be handed over in the beginning of next year, said Bin Batti.
