The Swiss golfer from Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa kept the field at arm’s length as he bullied his way to a comprehensive 3-stroke winning margin from joint runners-up Khalid Yousuf (EGC) and Daniel Hendry (EGC).
The 27-year-old (+3) had a one-shot lead going into the second round, courtesy of a course record equaling first round of 71, one better than Hendry (+4).
On the second day, Harradine produced controlled golf and particularly impressive iron play en-route to 75, which included a bogey, bogey finish, a luxury his earlier impressive form allowed him.
On the final hole Harradine’s main threat proved to be Yousuf (+1) who required a birdie 3 to force Harradine to make par. However, Yousuf’s 5 iron from 181 yards found the water and a double bogey 6 gave Harradine a comfortable cushion.
Other prizes went to Nick Hymes (EGF - 137), Jaryd Fisher (EGF - 143) and Nestor Labis (EGF - 143) for the top three 36 hole net scores. Brett Armstrong (ABGC - 76 ) and Abdullah Al Mosharrekh (DCGYC - 71) won the daily gross awards. David Gowans (DGGYC – 71) and Sandeep Singh (EGC - 96) won the two daily net prizes.
