A shocking video, from west London, shows two teenagers celebrate with a fist bump after stabbing an 18-year-old to death in cold blood.
William Haines, 18, and a 17-year-old youth, who are facing life in jail, were filmed fleeing after stabbing Yusuf Mohamed in his heart and leg. Mohamed was walking with his friends on Uxbridge road when the two teenagers 'targetted for no obvious reason', the court heard.
Prosecutor Bill Emlyn Jones said: "Suddenly, and for no obvious reason, the two defendants crossed the road towards Yusuf and his friends. Yusuf had no time to run away, he had no time to do anything to protect himself. Unlike his attackers, he was not carrying a weapon. He stood no chance."
Haines reached Yusuf first and pierced him in the heart with his 6.2-inch blade. While the other teenager, who cannot be named due to his age, stabbed Yusuf in the leg. The prosecutor told jurors: "Seeing Yusuf collapse to the floor, and as Yusuf desperately tried to retreat, crawling backwards on his elbows, (the 17-year-old) took out his own knife and followed him, stabbing him in the leg as he lay defenceless."
Haines has been found guilty of murder and possession of a blade while the other teenager was found guilty of manslaughter and having a knife. The prosecutor added, "As the two young men ran away, tucking their knives back out of sight, they gave each other a fist bump as if to say, 'Well done us'."
The pair will be sentenced next month for the attack on June 26 last year, and are expected to be jailed for life, reported Daily Mail.
