It’s the Taj! You can embark on an exploration of the culinary heritage of India at Shamiana, the international outpost of Mumbai’s iconic restaurant, which was established in 1973. Family day out. If you’re looking for a thrill this weekend, Yas Island is offering Indian nationals special park entrance rates. Home to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, and the record-breaking CLYMB, entry to the park normally costs Dh295 per person but if you’re from India you can purchase a ticket for just Dh95 for a visit between 12-14 November. Tickets must be pre-booked online and ticketholders will need to present their national ID.

MasterChef experience. Situated bang in the middle of Dubai Marina at the Millennium Place, MasterChef the TV Experience will be offering a three-course set menu including sharing platters, a choice of a main and a dessert, available at Dh95 per person. Every dish is sure to be bursting with flavour. Look at the onion bhaji pizza!
Pool party. On Friday the Hilton Garden Inn Ras Al Khaimah will host a one-of-a-kind afternoon Diwali Desi Party with delicious food and a live DJ spinning chart topping Bollywood tunes. Celebrity Chef Sarthak will be serving up an array of those favorite dishes at a range of live-cooking stations including pani puri, spicy chaat, and deliciously sweet gulab jamun. It’s on from 1pm until 6pm from Dh149.
Buffet bazaar. The Park Regis Kris Kin’s Masala Bazaar in Bur Dubai does sumptuous food in a fantastic atmosphere. More than that, meals are always easy on the wallet. On Friday and Saturday from 7pm to 11pm a Diwali buffet will set you back Dh59.
Just desert. Bab Al Shams Desert Resort has reopened and now it’s a bit cooler you can spice up your staycation with the tastes of India at the lovely Masala restaurant. Starting at Dh745 per person, your staycation experience includes a room, daily breakfast at the beautiful Al Forsan restaurant, a set menu experience at Masala, access to the desert infinity pool and gym and a complimentary falcon show and camel ride experience.
