The two-day competition is being organised by the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical, Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET) at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre themed “Fly high with your skills”.
“The workshops were organised under the instructions of Hussein Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Director-General of ACTVET, and conducted by number of officials and experts, who explained to the participants the mechanism of competition, rules and conditions which they should observe during the participation,” said Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, Deputy Director of the centre.
“The officials and experts have also presented advice and instructions the contenders could benefit from. The winners will be joining the UAE team representing the country in the World Skills Leipzg, scheduled to be held in Germany in July 2013,” he added.
