The Ajman Police have arrested two Arab men for stealing Dh4.48 million from a commercial outlet in Ajman. Col Abdullah Saif Al Matroushi, Director of Ajman's Criminal Investigation Department (CID), said the owner's son lodged a complaint about the theft recently.
A CID team was formed to investigate the case. The team tracked the suspects down and arrested them. The suspect resisted the arrest violently, said the official.
During interrogation, the suspects confessed to the crime, after which they were referred to the public prosecution.
Col Al Matroushi has urged the public to inform the police if they spot any suspicious activity.
