The Sharjah Police tipped off about the illegal activity of a Sri Lankan national who was in possession of a huge quantity of fireworks and was planning to sell them in Sharjah without attaining a security licence from the authorities.
The investigation led to the arrest of the suspect, M.S, and seizure of the crackers. It was found out that he was selling the crackers along with two other UAE residents from India and Iran.
The police found that one of the suspects lives in Dubai while the second one resides in Ras Al Khaimah.
After seizing the quantity, the other two suspects were arrested in coordination with the police authorities in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah.
