His girlfriend, 38-year-old F.G who hails from Uzbekistan, was sentenced to one year in jail and a fine of Dh1,000 for consuming drugs and having an extramarital affair. The court also ordered to deport her after serving her jail term.

According to court records, Anti-Narcotics section of the Fujairah Police received a tip-off, indicating that the suspect was trading in drugs. The police put the suspect under surveillance and evidence showed that the information was right.

An undercover agent posed as a drug user and approached the suspect asking for drugs. They struck a deal and agreed to meet at a busy mall in Dibba Fujairah.

When the exchange between the drug and the money took place, the police arrested the suspect red-handed. On interrogation, he confessed to the charge and told the police that he was keeping a number of narcotic pills at a hotel apartment in the city.

The police found a large quantity of pills in the apartment and the Uzbek woman was also present in the apartment. She admitted to the police that the drugs belonged to her male friend.
