In a startling case of online cheating, a woman lost over Dh500,000 she invested after receiving a message from a man through social media.
How to protect yourself from online swindlers Ramadan Al Sawah, a legal counselor at Dr. Hassan Al Marzooqi Advocates and Legal Consultations office, warned social media users of getting attracted or lured by what he said 'bogus' advertisements enclosed in messages sent by unlicensed bodies in the country or by unknown entities.
