Court records showed that the case came to light last month when the Central Operations Room of the Ras Al Khaimah Police was alerted that four residents, all Asians, provided shelter to two absconding women.
The four men had an agreement with the two women, by which they acted as pimps while the latter had sex with other men for money.
The court bench, comprising Presiding Judge Yusuf Rajab, Judge Hamad Abdul Karim and Judge Arif Humaidan, ordered adjourned the hearing to February 27 to give its final ruling.
Pharmacist in the dock
The same bench also started hearing a case in which a pharmacist is accused of possessing and bringing Tramadol pills into the country.
According to the court records, the anti-narcotics officers at the RAK International Airport arrested the accused with the drugs in his luggage last year.
The bench adjourned the hearing to a month later.
