The Dubai police have arrested six Asians for storing 3.5 tonnes of different materials, including tobacco products, to sell in illegal markets.
Brigadier Dr Adel Al Suwaidi, director of Jebel Ali Police Station, said that the operations room received information about some people storing the products illegally. According to the tipoff, three vehicles were spotted with tonnes of products, including tobacco and naswar, as well as clothes and gifts. 
A police team was able to seize the products and arrest the six suspects, in cooperation with the Dubai Municipality. 

Brig Al Suwaidi added that the police managed to identify the drivers of the vehicles, and they led the police to the other three suspects who were storing the products in workers' accommodation.
He called on the public to report any similar behaviour to protect the economy of the country.
