The Dubai Police chief has become the latest top official to receive the Covid-19 vaccine.
Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police, received his first dose on Monday.
The vaccine is administered for free across the emirate at 120 locations. (Full list here.)
Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management, is among the top Dubai officials to get the vaccine.
Sheikh Mansoor had on Sunday urged residents to take the jab so as to keep the community safe from Covid-19.
