The Bahrain health ministry has reported 317 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 376 recoveries.
Of the new cases, 116 were among expatriate workers, 201 were contacts of active cases.
No new death was reported. The death toll stands at 186.
As many as 9,166 Covid-19 tests were carried out on August 26, the ministry said, taking the total number of recoveries to 47,049.
There are currently 30 Covid-19 cases in a critical condition, and 76 cases receiving treatment. 3,128 cases are stable out of a total of 3,158 active cases.
