UAE residents are being urged to stay at home and practice social distancing to contain the spread of coronavirus.
The authorities are taking wide-ranging measures in a bid to stop the spread of coronavirus in the country. They have announced restrictions on the movement of traffic and people overnight to sanitise outdoor areas and public transport.
Wearing a mask as a precautionary measure to prevent Covid-19 spread is only mandatory for people suffering from chronic diseases and those with flu symptoms, according to authorities.

UAE residents can go out for buying groceries and medicines; getting treatment for an urgent health condition; and for their jobs during the day time. However, unless it is for these reasons, they are supposed to #StayHome to help stop the spread of Covid-19.
