Viral video: Indian boy cheers up a locked-down nation through music

Dubai - Rishav De's singing and guitar-playing, which involve him recreating classic hits from the likes of Cliff Richard, have won widespread acclaim on social media.

Inspirational social media videos have been cheering up fed-up Indians in nationwide coronavirus lockdown for more than 40 days now.
One such is a viral video of a little boy who is impressing netizens with his singing and guitar-playing prowess.

Shared on Facebook by Soumen de Singer, the video shows Rishav De strumming the guitar while belting out classic songs such as 'Lemon Tree' by German musical group, 'Fools Garden'.
He has also sung 'Bachelor Boy' and 'Summer Holiday' by British singing legend, Cliff Richard.
The boy's musical skills, which have been viewed by thousands on several social media platforms, have been lauded by viewers galore.
"Wish I could play even 20 per cent the way this kid did," reads one of many comments on viral posts.
