DUBAI: You can bet that the country’s most happening city has something to offer! Downtown Dubai will be alight, with the Burj Khalifa to light up in the colors of the flag and the Dubai Fountains to dance to the national anthem and other songs. The shows start at 6 pm, with one every hour from December 1st to 3rd. Get your dose of culture and history as well with the displays Downtown, celebrating 48 years of the Union.
ABU DHABI: The country’s capital is not skimping on the celebrations this year. Yas Island will be the center of events this weekend, with a number of events lined up. An assortment of entertainment on and off the track at Yas Marina Circuit will feature a classic car parade, and a concert by award-winning singer Usher on December 1st. Close the night off with fireworks, scheduled for 9 pm.
SHARJAH: Heart of Sharjah and the Sharjah Corniche will be the heart of celebrations in the city. The streets are set to come alive with a spectacular parade of children from local schools, clubs and the Sharjah Girl Guides and Scouts. They’ll be parading with live musicians, stilt walkers, jugglers and other fun performers. Bring the whole family for this celebration.
