was arrested at a hotel in Ajman after the police confirmed that all evidences proved that he had committed a series of robberies at the different commercial outlets. He admitted that he had sold the stolen items to raise money as his visa was about to expire and he needed the cash to return to Pakistan.
The thief with help of his Indian friend P had stolen a large money and various kinds of goods which he sold to buy alcoholic beverages. The thief had been arrested by the police earlier for consuming alcoholic beverage in public areas and causing disturbance.
Speaking to Khaleej Times, Rashid Mujlad, Head of the investigation section of Ajman Police said several complaints of shop robberies were received by the operation rooms of various police stations of the emirate. The police formed a team to investigate the case and intensified the patrol around various commercial areas in the emirate.
During the investigation the police found that all the commercial outlets were robbed by using one method of breaking into the doors by using crowbar and smashing the glass to get into the shops. The report of the forensic laboratory proved that the finger print found on the light switch of all these shops are same.
