Bollywood top actress Priyanka Chopra may be going places now - but the struggle began years ago in 2000.
These pictures of Priyanka Chopra, 33, when she was just 17 were recently shared by a fan club and they have set Twitter abuzz. They were reportedly submitted for the Miss World pageant in 2000, which she won. The pictures seem to suggest that, among other things, plastic surgery has helped the actress come a long way.

The actress took to Instagram to say that she has been "resting on her wrists since she was 17"

Priyanka, who was honoured with Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award earlier this month, can be seen playing the lead role in popular American TV series "Quantico".
The actress also has garnered more votes than Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a Time readers' poll ahead of the annual list of 100 most influential people in the world that the magazine publishes every year.
