SLEW OF EVENTS AT GV TO MARK EID FESTIVITIES
DUBAI — Global Village will be hosting special festivities to mark Eid Al Fitr day to further add to the attractions of the event for the visitors. Khalid Al Shafar, Marketing Manager of Global Village said, "Global Village is organising a number of events to mark the Eid Al Fitr day
and make it extra special for the visitors. Generally during the Eid holidays the number of visitors to the Global Village touches record numbers and with our new facilities and services at our location at Dubailand we are much better equipped to entertain the visitors."
He added, "As part of festivities on Eid day there will be 25 special cakes distributed to the public at 4 pm which will have 100 Ediyah with a host of prizes including tickets to enter Chevrolet car draw, family tickets for global village and gift vouchers."
Besides these, Al Shafar said that the Global Village will host carnivals, circus, fireworks display, traditional dances and musical fountains to mark Eid Al Fitr festivities.
Eight pre-eminent organisations have come forward to offer their support for Global Village 2005 - 2006 which will open from October 26th, 2005 to 3rd March, 2006. The sponsors include - Emirates Bank; Chevrolet; London Dairy; ABC International Ltd; Pepsi- Dubai Refreshments Company; Cellucom; Americana and Aquafina- Dubai Refreshments Company.
