'Phone Bhoot': Farhan Akhtar announces horror comedy with Katrina Kaif

The film is scheduled to release in cinemas in 2021.

Farhan Akhtar has officially announced Phone Bhoot, a horror-comedy starring Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter, on his social media handles.

Produced by Farhan, Phone Bhoot is directed by Gurmeet Singh and written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath. It is scheduled to release in 2021 and will start shooting later this year.

"The one stop shop for all bhoot related problems, #PhoneBhoot ringing in your nearest cinema in 2021 @katrinakaif @ishaankhatter @siddhantchaturvedi @gurmmeetsingh @ravi.shankaran @jasvinderbath @ritesh_sid @excelmovies," Farhan wrote on Twitter.

Phone Bhoot will be Katrina's first release after Bharat with Salman Khan last year. Katrina, Siddhant and Ishaan also shared the news on their social media handles.
