Twitter has announced that the last post from Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman's handle has set a new record.
On Saturday, a day after Boseman passed away after battling colon cancer, Twitter announced that the final post on the actor's Twitter handle is the most liked tweet ever, reports deadline.com.
The tweet is a picture of the actor and his family's announcement of his death.
"Most liked Tweet ever. A tribute fit for a King," Twitter's official account said, retweeting Boseman's post. "#WakandaForever."
The tweet, which was posted on Friday, currently has 6.5 million likes and has been retweeted 3 million times.
Among the millions retweeting and liking the tweet were Hollywood stars, politicians and other public figures. Dwayne Johnson, Quinta Brunson and Natasha Rothwell retweeted Boseman's post and added their own tribute to the actor.
