bring its acclaimed musical show to Dubai for the first time from April 22-26 at DUCTAC.

The highly-acclaimed Shakespeare 4 Kidz Theatre Company are at the forefront of creative Shakespeare Education in the UK, bringing the work of our greatest playwright to children and young people of all ages and ability levels in a unique and accessible way.

They use a contemporary music theatre style, uniquely blending the original text with the modern language of today and ably supported by superb songs especially written for Shakespeare 4 Kidz to create Shakespeare that is genuinely for everyone, regardless of age.

Shakespeare 4 Kidz A Midsummer Night's Dream is a musical adaptation of Shakespeare's original text. It tells three interweaving stories: four young friends are involved in a dispute concerning an arranged marriage; six working men are rehearsing a play to be performed at the Royal Wedding feast; whilst Oberon and Titania - the King and Queen of Fairyland - are arguing so fiercely that they have upset the balance of nature in the mortal world. Oberon's desire to teach Titania a lesson are helped and hindered by his mischievous sprite Puck, who stirs all the ingredients to create a magical, midsummer mayhem in the woods... or is it just a dream?

With a clever mix of Elizabethan Shakespeare, modern language and music, Shakespeare 4 Kidz writers Julian Chenery and Matt Gimblett have developed a concept which allows the audience to grasp and appreciate the very essence of the characters, themes and plots, creating as one critic put it, 'Shakespeare that everyone can understand.'

Shakespeare 4 Kidz A Midsummer Night's Dream has an energetic cast of thirteen, a live band and aims to allow children and young people to experience Shakespeare in an exciting and understandable way, which has also won praise and support from teachers, parents and grandparents.
