Band impresses despite low turnout

FOR PALASH Sen, the lead singer of famous Indian Band Euphoria, it was an evening to remember. According to him, it was the first time in his singing career he performed for a small audience, of less than 50 people, in Dubai’s Al Nasr Leisureland.

bandAnd he played it to the best of his ability. "I have always played in front of huge crowds but this is quite an experience. It’s an audience of about 50, but they are my fans and my band will not disappoint them," said an upbeat Palash before going on stage. "The morale of the band has to be up and since I am on lead vocals they need to support me with the best of the music,"he added.

While the low turnout has been attributed to the World Cup matches, that probably kept the Indo-Asian community indoors, Palash and his band took it as a major challenge and performed for about four hours.

"I like Euphoria's performances and that is why I came over for the show,"said Rupali, a diehard fan. Palash gave his audience almost all his great numbers including Mai Ri, Ab na Jaa, Dhoom Pichuk,Mehfuz and many more.
