As hundreds of tycoons gathered in hopes of expanding their real estate portfolios, scores of fans arrived to greet some of their favorite entertainment and sports stars.

Model Geeta Basara joined other high profiled Bollywood stars Aditi Govitrikar and Minisha Lamba, all of whom received a warm reception from guests and starstruck moviegoers.

But it was star cricketer, Yuvraj Singh, that set the night ablaze as dozens of guests began to surround the VIP table trying to catch a glimpse of the athlete. Looking rather disheveled, Singh arrived at the prestigious, multi-billion Dirham launch with a button-up shirt half tucked in his jeans.

The excitement was somewhat short lived, because fans who could no longer resist the temptation began snapping their own personal shots; a sea of amateur camera-phone paparazzi ensued.

Just minutes after dinner was served, nearly all the high-profiled celebrities shifted to the adjacent room, apparently for privacy and security concerns. The night continued on with drinks and a bevy of beauties wearing Greece’s famous blue scarf around their necks.

But LA and South America were also out in force, as Brazilian supermodel Lorrayne joined Hollywood’s wild-child, Tara Reid in a night of celebration and partying.

The new business partners revealed to City Times the upcoming launch of their fashion line, Mantra, due out in Las Vegas next month.

Reid, donning a short green dress, looked in good spirits as the night progressed. Renowned for her partying nature and gentle manner, Hollywood’s skewed girlnext- door looked ready to take over Dubai.
