Fit but you know it

‘ADVENTURE BOOTCAMP’ HAS kicked off at Club Mina, Le Meridien Mina Seyahi.

The programme is packed with fun and energising activites designed to help you reach your fitness goals, regardless of age, size or fitness level.

Prices are Dhs45 per session for members or Dhs50 for non-members, with reductions for package booking.

Sessions take place every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6.30am to 7.30am. Call 04 318 1420 for more details.



BRITISH INDIE BAND White Lies play a DJ set at Alpha tomorrow night.

The London quartet were named ‘one to watch’ by the BBC in 2009, and lived up to their billing when debut album To Lose My Life… debuted at number one in the UK album charts.

The group have been compared to the likes of Joy Division, The Killers and Franz Ferdinand.

Doors open from 9pm to 3am. Entry is free before midnight for everyone, then Dhs75 for men and Dhs50 for women afterwards.


New mix

BRAND NEW NIGHTCLUB Atelier launches tonight in Emirates Towers this evening, with Swiss producer Remady supplying the tunes.

After remixing for the likes of Fredde Le Grand and Roger Sanchez, Remady scored a Europe-wide hit with No Superstar earlier this year.

Doors open from 10pm to 3am, and tickets (Dhs100) are available from, and at the door.

East meets West

EAST 17 ARE the latest act heading to Chi nightclub, where the 90s boy band will perform hits such as Stay Another Day, It’s Alright and House of Love.

Marketed as the tougher alternative to Take That during their heyday, the Londoners sold more than 20 million albums and enjoyed a dozen UK top 10 singles.

The band reformed in 2006, although they parted ways with the controversial singer Brian Harvey earlier this year.

Tickets cost Dhs100 in advance and at the door, with ladies and Face Card holders free before midnight. Visit for tickets.
